I have multible Samsung devices, for Xmas I received a S8 Ultra Tablet. How surprised was I when I called Samsung support about the s8 ultra and was told that they can't help me since it is out of warranty. It was purchased through Amazon. I turned it on after xmasnd registered it with Samsung. They tell me that because it was a 2nd party vendor they won't help. I can't express my disappointment in Samsung enough.
Is this normal procedure? If so I'm not impressed.

@Horst76: I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment surrounding the warranty status of your Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Please note that the warranty for our tablet range activates on the date of purchase, and runs for 24 months. If the tablet was second hand or refurbished then it would retain the original warranty period, which would explain why it is currently showing as out of warranty on our system. Once again, please accept my apologies for any confusion this may have caused.

Really sorry to hear about your issue..😞
Tablets comes with 24-month manufacture warranty, and tab s8 is out that period, as its been released in April 2022, although amazon could offers 1 year warranty for electronics or renewed devices that covers any defects.

If you are having issues with the device, go back to Amazon in the first instance....
