Samsung A8 tablet, Android 14
Since the April 25 app update on Android, when using the Gmail app, text flashes and disappears when scrolling down. Headers remain constant. Occurs only in portrait mode. If I turn the tablet to landscape, text scrolls correctly.
This is only on the tablet. No problem with the app on the phone, also a Samsung Galaxy running on Android 11.
I note that this problem has occurred before and I have tried most of the suggested fixes.
Cleared cache.
Disabled Chrome browser temporarily.
If anyone has further suggestions I would be pleased to try them.

Update. It happens in whichever mode - portrait or landscape - that I start the Gmail app. However, in both layouts, If I turn the tablet to the other mode while the email is on screen, it will scroll correctly.
This is sooooo annoying when you want to look quickly at an email.
