I changed my password in My samsung galaxy tab A but it wont open anymore

Hey,

I changed my password from pin to the alphabetical password but when i started it again it showed that enter pin code even tho i changed it and when i added my pin code it didnt work and i couldnt switch it off too, i tried rebooting like others said but it doesnt work and even the 'find my mobile' cant connect to it, is there anyway to unlock it withtout hard reboot??

Only through find my phone.
You may have added a password to the device, but the lock screen method was still set to PIN.
