Samsung galaxy tab A7 lite

I purchased a samsung galaxy tab A7 lite about 2 and a half or 3 years ago but it has not fine a software update since the end of August 2024 and the security patch is 1st July 2024, i was told last year that this tablet only updates twice a year but I recently read that this tablet is not eligible for anymore software updates, is this true?

If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.

I was told on here some months ago that the samsung galaxy tab A7 lite only receives 2 updates a year and then I read recently that the samsung galaxy tab A7 lite is no longer eligible for updates, my samsung galaxy tab A7 lite has not updated since August last year, I am confused by conflicting advice
