Hi, may be way off the mark but I installed latest security update this morn and the auto blocker has been beefed up. It set to maximum it invokes a load of security measures and one of them seems to be not allowing opening links. I'm simplifying that a lot as only installed it an hour ago and only gave it a nursery glance. May be worth a look tho. Will be under Privacy and Security in your settings.
