TL;DR: If you get a Server Error, selecting "Leave SmartThings" might help.
I hope this is useful for others.
I bought four Samsung SmartTag2s. My location was set to another country, so I changed it. I wanted to share the tags with my girlfriend, but I kept getting a Server Error.
If you’re experiencing the same issue, go to Settings and tap "Leave SmartThings." It took some time, but after that, I simply signed in again and everything worked perfectly.
