Share location of my phone and my SmartTag2

Hello, I just got a Samsung phone S23 Ultra and a Smarttag 2. I use the SmartThings app, in which I can locate my SmartTag2 when it's at home and outside my home.

But now I want to share these 2 devices' locations with my wife. She also has a Samsung phone A34. I followed some guides on the web but it does not seem to work. Could somebody give me a link to the correct method?

Both phones must have location sharing enabled.

The critical part is the last sentence, you must got into the device, within Smartthings, click and it takes you into the Find app, then click more and share location.

As @GiraffeNeckLong said both phones must do this.

That said when I want to find my sons mobile, in Find app I must hamburger icon below the location icon, then click member devices and then select the device.

If you share with my than two people, so for me my wife and son, then the above process doesn't work, you must go into the Smartthings app, top right use the drop down and pick the person, then the device.

I have a problem with SmartTag2 adding a 2nd user saying Not allowed (To locate and control this tag,the owner needs to share it with you in SmartThings Find). Original SmartTag works fine. I have given the user Full Access and trying Control Device Only.

I have exactly the same issue.  Cant find a solution anywhere!

I have shared a location/room/whatevs with my wife's phone.  When I add a tag to the room or location (and the difference is??) my wife can see it but it says 'Not allowed'....

Tap it and she gets:-
"To locate and control this tag,the owner needs to share it with you in SmartThings Find"

Nowhere can I find how to share the tag...????? Well Samsung?  I am sharing the location or room, so why are the devices I put in there not being shared?  Why cant I share this device?

both of these things are much harder than they should be to figure out, but 2 things:

1. the member(s) you want to share a tag with must be invited, and accept the invitation to, your SmartThings account's Home first
2. once they have accepted that, the owner then needs to:
   1. select the tag in question from the SmartThings app (and not the Find app on your phone, while some of it looks and feel similar to what you get when you browse a tag in SmartThings, the sharing options will not show up in Find)
   2. click View Map on the tag setting screen that comes up next
   3. select More on the map view that comes up
   4. toggle the Share option on
