Smartthings app find device map is really old

I've been using my gen1 galaxy tag to locate my car, but noticed recently that the find device map, wherever Samsung gets that map info, is really old. I can find road layouts that changed years ago, still showing as their old layouts.

It should just be using google maps. Does the normal google maps app show the same old roads that smart things does?
