So Samsung are upgrading their branded and Aeotech hubs to the MATTER standard, but I feel it creates more of a mess for me.
I have ALL Hive lights, heating and room sensors (motion activates lights to a schedule), the Ring and Arlo cameras, but Samsung mobile and TV, etc...
Samsung provides no Hive support, but Apple Homekit does, looking deeper it seems Apple Homekit provides allot more Smart tech coverage than Samsung.
I also thought the 2021 Samsung TV onwards act as a hub, is that not the case, as seems an extra dongle is required.

So trying to decide whether to even bother with a Samsung hub or just use Apple Homekit with my iPad.
Anyone else having similar woes?

If HomeKit is already giving you more coverage and integration with your Hive devices, it might be the smoother path to take, especially considering your iPad could serve as a reliable hub.
