I'm trying to buy a new laptop and use my Totum student discount card offer of 10%, however when i try to checkout, it requires me to register a .ac.uk email address from an academic organisation however I'm an apprentice and my place of study doesn't issues those out.

Is the student discount now only for those in full time education?

If you don't understand how government apprenticeships work, please don't reply as you'll only muddy the water.

Not all apprenticeship education providers use ac.uk domains as they're private companies approved by the UK government to provide education and training, so the individuals are still classed as students, just not on a full time basis

That is incorrect, please don't comment if you're unable to provide an accurate answer.

I am already signed up to TOTUM and you do not need an ac.uk or student email as most apprentices won't have one.

In the cases where the apprenticeship education provider does not use a ac.uk domain or provide students with email addresses then TOTUM also accept proof of course admission as confirmation of student status.

Thank you but I would face the same issues with those providers and as I'm already a member of the Totum student discount scheme, I don't want to join any more for the same result.
