Discount Code is Just Wrong

I was looking to buy a Galaxy Tab S9 fore university and there is an advertised discount code for 20% off in the student store. The price off the tablet is £799 and the discount is £39.93. Doing some simple maths shows this is a discount of 5%. Someone has probably mixed up 20% off and 1/20 off or something.
I've tried to explain it to a Samsung Expert but they were not helpful at all in resolving it. Is there any hope in trying to fix this or am I stuck with just a 5% discount?

They should call them customer services adviser as from my experience theres never anything ' Expert ' about them , they just read from a prepared script

From what I can see in the employee partnership store which I think is similar to the student store... there is a 20% code on the TabS9 ultra model by using code 'SUMMER'. But it seems on my portal that is for the ultra model only.

The tabS9 base model is showing at £679.15 instead of £799 full price. So that calculates out as 15% discounted.

I would expect the student store to be the same as the employee partnership store, but I could be wrong.
