Early delivery?

I pre-ordered the Z Fold 5 on 27th and my delivery date is down as 4th August. But now

 My order status is saying 'preparing despatch'. Early surprise delivery perhaps?

Most likely. Since 2019 I have pre-ordered 6 Samsung phones. They have all arrived at least 3-4 days early

Which colour and size did you order, I ordered the Icy Blue 1tb but still on "confirmed" and delivery date as 4th August

I have ‘preparing dispatch’ as well having had nothing happening to my order for the last few days, including even an email confirmation. However, I’d be surprised if delivery happened before Friday as it’s Tuesday now. The phone is already three-weeks earlier than last year. Of course, the lack of innovation probably means it could have been released months ago! However, I don’t trust my Fold 4 to last for more than a year so an enforced, sort of, trade in. I’m disappointed by this year’s update and might even head back to iOS if there’s no more changes next year. I tend to switch from Android to Apple every few years. The the tech seems innovative.

But 4th August is early already
I have the DPD app. So this will notify me when a delivery is due and when
