Having called support seems like I have to wait for 13 months rather than the advertised 12 months on the web site to be able to get a phone upgrade as part of the upgrade program. Asked for someone to call me back on this but never got one.
Be aware Samsung support is really bad and you won't get your upgrade as advertised.
So they are doing this to EVERYONE! 13-13.5 MONTHS to upgrade which is not in line with T&Cs. My time is worth a lot of money, and I spent so long on this with no result. No wonder noone is using this service. I am now tempted to switch to another company forever.
I am getting fobbed off to Klarna and already told Samsung they fobbed me back to them. Told me this is the normal date, and I have to wait 13.5 months.
Where do I submit a complaint to Trading Standards? We need to get some collective action going guys!!!
Their support team is severely damaging the reputation of Samsung by given out misinformation. However in the end the process was very straight forward. If only they would have said so.
On this page you should see a check if you are eligible button. Just press it and enter your Klarna contract number from your confirmation email and you should be good to go. No need to use their support and there is no email confirmation to kick things off.
This is what I used to raise a complaint and got an answer back pretty quick.
