Hi. My S8 has been stuck in boot up for the past 2 days. Likely that it went through a firmware / OS update overnight and could never complete the boot up. I have tried reboots, clearing caches, wiping data, factory reset etc - almost all options available in the manual boot up menu (Vol down+bixby+power buttons). Need help desperately please!

Are you able to visit a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre ?

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

ok probably the software got corrupted, did you back up your data?
How tecchy would you define yourself? Given the circumstances and the fact that the warranty has probably expired if you know how to do it you may consider a complete software flash via odin to solve or try to solve the problem.
Normally i would not advise that on this community but given the fact that the device is not working, out of warranty and covid it is worth a shot
