Hi @Galaxy S8 Stuck sometimes third party apps can cause conflicts and if this is relevant best to see if you can try in Safe Mode to see if the issue still exists. if works ok there would pinpoint recent third party apps. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/
Otherwise see if you can enter Recovery Mode to clear the cache partition, some temporary cache files can become outmoded or in some cases corrupt. Whilst the temporary files are deleted your Data is intact. Follow these steps:
1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key,Bixby key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release all keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
However this Device no longer eligible for security updates so there will be vulnerabilities. https://www.sammobile.com/news/5-year-old-galaxy-s8-plus-

Go to your nearest repair center and ask for a new battery, because sometimes the battery causes that. If that doesn't work, something has failed.
