For a while now (2 updates ago) my wifi is unable to turn on. When I click the wifi button even when I'm in the settings it tells me it's turning on, however it doesn't show me any networks and later turns off. I've tried restarting my phone and talked to the chat bot and done all it's suggestions. None have worked. Can anyone help?

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK Community Forum

Sorry to hear of your troubles. You haven't mentioned your device but first things first I would go to Settings and search Reset Network Settings and action that.

Note that your device will no longer have any saved WiFi networks with this so you'll need to select the WiFi network and enter the password again.

Sorry to jump on this thread, but I have the same issue since the latest update. Galaxy Fold 3. I've reset the network settings. Hard reset the cache as others have suggested and still unable to toggle WiFi on.

Please try restarting your phone in Safe mode, as this will disable all third party apps and help to determine if the problem is stemming from an external source.

To enter Safe mode, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode.

With Safe mode active, head back to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi, and attempt to toggle it on. If you find that it switches on as expected, then please restart your phone as you would normally and uninstall any apps that you have added to the device since you first encountered the issue. It won't be possible to determine exactly which app is at fault, therefore I recommend approaching this via a process of elimination.
