It was working fine earlier then while I was out it randomly restarted and went into the 'optimising apps' boot but I didn't think much of it however now that I'm home and I try to use my home wifi the phone just refuses to turn on wifi. It will say 'scanning for networks' and then if you close change apps or even just stay there it gives up (yes I've restarted and turned fully off left for a bit then back on) not sure what the problem could be could be a one ui 7 bug perhaps

Shut the phone down, hold volume up and power till the phone vibrates and gets to the recovery menu. Select clear cache partition, press yes, reboot. Use the volume and power button to select things in the menu

Do not press reset device, that is an option, don't accidentally press that

I believe that's the right button combo but I might be a little off

You could try "reset wifi and Bluetooth settings". It'll wipe saved wifi info and paired Bluetooth devices but it might help.

Just don't if you have a samsung smart watch connected. Long story but it's annoying pairing it again

In the support section of this app, run diagnostics and see if anything shows as an issue. Not sure of much else you could try other than a reset, but that's a bit extreme and shouldn't be needed

If you do try a reset, make sure to make a smart switch backup first. Ideally using a pc but the cloud option works too
