S21 FE Wi-Fi issues

Hi, I recentlyish was gifted a S21 FE for my birthday a month ago, after much troubleshooting just to get the phone set up because the phones WiFi wouldn’t work i finally got it to work on and off for a while where it would work for a short amount of time sometimes 10-15 minutes sometimes 2-3 hours without it turning off, recently not sure what i did it started working near perfectly with the Wi-Fi staying on all the time, i think it was a mix of me putting the phone in safe mode for a few minutes everyday and that would appear to fix it for a good while. However today the phones WiFi will not turn on whatsoever whatever i try, im no longer certain its a software issue because of this, before putting it into safe mode would allow it to turn on and stay on but now its a problem of it wont even turn on in safe mode, i know this is all a common issue but im becoming more annoyed daily because of this, im sick of having to use my data and having to restrict myself from using apps i would usually use on the daily but no longer can.  Any help is much appreciated!

Sorry to hear of these troubles.

I would suggest to back up your phone and then factory reset it. If it is a software issue then this could resolve it.

If you do a factory reset and still have the same problem then it'll be best to look at booking a repair through Samsung so an engineer can get hands on with it.

Sorry not factory resetting the phone I’ve already tried that, I’ve contacted Samsung customer help before as much as the agent was kind they did not fix my problem and told me it was a hardware issue, i doubt it is because a lot of people are all having the same problem due to what looks like an update that rolled out in January of this year. Are there any other fixes because i don't have the money to be throwing about to get it repaired or looked at

Don't need to apologise, if you wish to decline the suggestions then that is your prerogative.

Have you checked if you have any software updates to install?

Tbh, if it was software problem then I find a factory reset would resolve.

You've crossed that bridge.

You've said Samsung have already tried to resolve and have now said it could be hardware. If that's the case an engineer needs to check it out.

I appreciate it's frustrating when a function that's also very useful does not work correctly. 

It does appear you have carried out a good set of troubleshooting steps already, with some good suggestions made by @OmegaMutant  👌

If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.  

There is also Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's } 

And there is a self help diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App too. 

Feedback can be sent to Samsung via your Samsung Members App too. 

A Samsung Service Centre can assess the phone.

Nothing has helped so far tried probably everything even cleared cache again today the phones WiFi won't even work in safe mode I'm praying someone has an actual fix for this because I should have a phone that doesn't work properly that is this new and modern, pretty sure it's a software issue now because it will turn on briefly and say connecting then then itself off again and won't turn back on after

join the club I’ve been using my s10e in my house and recently it has started working in a strange way, it has been disconnecting from my wifi randomly and not being able to connect again for a while, obviously my s21fe has been my main problem but its strange that all of my phones are having WiFi related issues
