I was trying to set up samsung pay, I was redirected through Curve, to download the app etc... and a virtual account was created and physical card ordered. Why can we not just use an account  we already have. I had already put an account there.

As long as your bank supports Samsung Pay you should be able to add your bank details @Enver09

My personal preference is Google Pay.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Thanks for your reply. I had never used Samsung pay before, I was surprised to see an email saying that a physical card has been ordered for free.

Many of the UK banks don't work alongside Samsung Pay so to get around that they use Curve to provide the Samsung Pay+ service. It's actually pretty good!

How it works is like so...

You get a pre-pay Samsung Pay+ Mastercard that you need to register your banks Debit and or Credit Cards against. When you pay with Samsung Pay on your phone, watch or the Samsung Pay+ Mastercard itself, the amount is immediately taken from whatever card you have registered and selected as the default within the Curve app.

My advice comes from being a UK Samsung iPhone user.

Current Devices:
  • iPhone 14 Pro 256GB Deep Purple
  • Samsung Galaxy Buds+ > Model: SM-R175.
