Today I had that overheating warning again.this time at 45 degrees celsius.i was listening music on  YouTube connected  wireless to buds pro,surfing on Facebook  and the phone start getting hotter and hotter until after 2 hours that warning signs shows up..... I'm confused.... that's only 3  processes (apps ) this phone can't handle in the same time... what's the point of 16 GB if this phone can't handle 3 processes.  no good with multitasking...I'm gutted... Samsung really needs to sort out this phone, because as it is now it's a mess

@Bt32

Was that 3 mins of video recording or just sitting with camera app set to photo?

Just completed the worlds most boring 10 minute video, see screenshot...

10 min video test.jpeg

The CPU temperature went from 28C to 35C and in no way can it be described as too hot. See screenshot...

Can count my 2 S21 Ultras I had too (ones gone back now). No overheating problems experienced here and battery life is fantastic, over 10h SoT.

The temp you're starting from probably matters as well as the ambient temp. With ambient temp of about 25c I started at 32c, played 5 min of YouTube then immediately recorded 5 min of video at 8k and got to about 38-39c. Which is fine I guess. If you don't mind, repeat your test with 5 minutes of taking photos using 108mp mode and portrait mode only and let us know how cpu intensive that is and how hot the cpu gets. This gets mine to over 40 easily.
