Since my Galaxy S21 FE installed the android 14 update, the microphone button is no longer available when using the Messages app. I have searched for and performed all the troubleshooting steps I could find without success. The app does have permission to access the microphone and I've tried with both the Samsung and Google keyboards.
The microphone is available and functioning properly with all other apps on the phone.

Hi! Thank you for attempting to help though, unfortunately, I cannot as the program crashes every time I open it now so can't get a capture due to the crash and the program closing itself. Since I switched to the Gboard a few hours ago it seems to be working though my preference would be to get back to using the Samsung keyboard.

I don't have a microphone on the second screen. I have Sound, Do-Not Disturb, Flashlight, Location, Portrait, Mobile Data, Airplane Mode, Quick Share, Wi-Fi Calling, Power Saving, Mobile Hotspot, NFC, San QR Code, Modes, Kids, and Dolby Atmos.

Added and it's on. Last night I changed message app from Google to Samsung and the mic was there using the Samsung app. This morning it's not on either message app. In the bottom right corner there is a little man (person?). that turns "speak keyboard input aloud (on or off), but no mic. Holding the space bar down allows cursor control. Above keyboard is a "smiley face", an "A" in a square box with an arrow, a clipboard, a gear, and the three dots for more which has "Modes" and "One -handed keyboard"

Reset the keyboard - nothing changed. Restarted the phone - nothing changed. Made Google messages the default message app - nothing changed. Went back to Samsung message app.
