I had an update pn my s21ultra and every app I loads it instantly shuts off. Some apps do it multiple time. E.g when I go on my prime video i click. Show it buffers then shuts me off sometimes it doesn't even let me watch it and I have to reopen it soo many times. Also won't let Me open li links on Facebook. Sometimes when opening apps I get a notification to clear cache I do think still doesn't allow me to open it. Anyone else have this issue or any help? TIA

Hi,
Regretfully there seems to be a few issues With the a12 update

I would perhaps
Do a system reset

If do a reset

@Kayleighh Hello, you mean the update of Android 12, ONE UI 4.0?
If you have received this system upgrade, it has been a bit unstable and with certain bugs. Later a patch has been distributed with bug fixes. You have received the two updates?

@Kayleighh Then what was commented by @xSteveuk  could work.

Hi @Kayleighh Bit of  a worry if you have received the bug update, only had minor issues at my end.  I would try wiping the cache partition first but if to no avail advisable to do a system reset (ensure Data is backed up first though)

To wipe cache partition:

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Connect To Computer or plug in USB-C Headphones  , Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key .
  3. When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
  4. An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
  6. Press Power key to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
  8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.

Press the Power key to restart the device
