Keyboard issues after S20 OS August 2021 Update

Hi, my first post here.

So I installed the latest OS update today morning on my S20 FE 5G and after that I have experienced strange touch screen or keyboard issues. When ever I try to write something with my keyboard it just lags or I have severe misspellings. The keyboard frequently doesn't recognize when I press the letter or it writes the same letter two or three times. It's very frustrating!

I have read on another forum users suffering the same issues. Anybody here have same problems?

I have rebooted the phone and changed the keyboard without success. I tested a Touchscreen testing app and it shows the actual touchscreen works very well with no issues. I didn't have any problems before installing the latest update. Any ideas what to do next?

Kernel version: 4.19.113-22378117

Security patch level: Sep 1 2021.

Yeah I just got the November update as well. It does appear to have helped me too. Not sure if it's fully resolved but does feel a bit better.

I have also installed the November update  but  for me the same touch screen issues still exist. I can't see any change.

Strangely I can't edit my reply but looks like touch screen might however work a bit better after all with November update. I was using high sensitivity setting which was turned on but when I turned it off typing feels now better

I agree. After some testing the touch screen issues still exist 😞

I tried touch screen test app and I was able to repeat the problems. Also while typing this I have issues...

Touch screen issues do still exist, but not to the extent of how it was during September/October updates. 😞

As a comparison, I used this app MultiTouchTester on this S20FE and on my old LG V30 and the difference is night and day. I simply put 3 fingers on the screen and moved them closer togather. S20FE's screen starts freaking out when fingers are close.

And this is my old LG V30

Mine is also better but Samsung today turned up and couldn't change the screen and battery because I'd had a previous repair under insurance which was not authorised by them.

I rang the original repairer and they are replacing the screen again. I couldn't believe it when the guy said to me that 1 in 20 genuine replacement Samsung screens come back defective. Anyway, it is getting replaced again tomorrow, let's see if that solves it once and for all.

My screen was replaced again, the engineer doing it showed me how some liquid had got in through the charging port. No further issues since replacement
