@Diamonds: What happens when you attempt to perform a factory data reset i.e. do you get any error messages or notifications? In the meantime, please follow the steps as laid out in the link below, to see if this helps.

@Diamonds: I have edited your reply to remove the email addresses, in accordance with data protection, and the terms and conditions of the Community.
Is the email address you're referring to registered to your Samsung or Google account? If it's your Google account, follow the link in my previous reply and look for 'Removing Google Factory Reset Protection' to see if this helps. You can also head to Settings > Accounts and backup > Manage accounts, and change the email address on your Samsung and Google accounts from here.
