Email sign in issues

Please can someone help, I woke up to a notification that my email sign in failed, asked to reset my password which I did and now it won't sign me in, I removed my account from email and now and keeps saying "couldn't verify account, check your account and exchange server information and try again" when I try to add again.... I have contacted Samsung but they say its not their issue and because I can't verify my account with outlook/Microsoft they can't help me apparently

Could well be a Microsoft issue as you are not the first to be having issues with Outlook today

Your the second one within this issue, not being able to login with Microsoft Outlook account. Maybe you need to contact Microsoft.

Hi @missjinx82 Welcome to the Samsung Community 😀

This seems to be an Outlook issue,see some Troubleshooting here https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/account-billing/i-can-t-sign-in-to-my-microsoft-account-475c9b5c.... However you may need to Contact Microsoft, could be particular issues at the moment.

  if issues in the event of 2 step verification being enabled  you may need to create an app specific password in the email app. If the IMAC protocol was disabled log into a web browser to enable this function.

I have but in order to get to chat with them I have to sign in which I can't do

Thank you for responding though the link says unavailable and I can't contact Microsoft they keep trying to make me sign in which I can't do. Any other help they provide doesn't really relate to my issue unfortunately

Have you tried web version or do you have same issue.

That link is ok but it still asks how I usually sign in and when I put that email address it tells me the are having issues verifying my account, try again later or continue to sign in.

All very strange considering my secondary outlook email on the same device works just fine

Thanks for your help, I may wait a while and see if the issue resolves itself.
