Hi,

I have 10 Galaxy S Series devices synchronized with the Samsung Email app using Office 365 email.

Since last week, every time I open the app, it prompts me for a password. However, if I simply click "OK," the synchronization continues without any issues.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?

Thanks,

Ehud

Hi and Welcome

Looks like quite a few people having issues like yourself.

People seem to be pointing to the recent outage Microsoft experienced couple of days ago.

Keep checking for any app updates.

Hopefully it shoul fix itself out.

Having the exact same issue and I think it is a bug... if you turn on email notifications it stops. The minute I turn off email notifications, it returns. Samsung, PLEASE FIX THIS ANNOYING ISSUE!!

I've had the problem for a number of weeks now, even before the recent Microsoft outage.

It doesn't seem to be an issue with the o365 account as my logins are all showing up with no issues authenticating. It appears to be how Samsung mail initiates the call for more emails.

I have had the same issue for 3 weeks now... I think it's the app. not Microsoft 365.

I tried resetting and changing the password ..no success

This actually happened after I updated the Samsung mail app on my Samsung s24, and it only affects Office365 logins...Affected date was Friday Feb 28th.  To be fair, my co-workers use iphones and they are also affected on their mobile devices, so its not a Samsung thing.   That leaves Office365

Followup, I cleared cache on the email app, and that seems to have fixed it.  Settings-apps-email-storage-clear cache

I tried clearing the cache as you suggested, but it didn’t solve the problem.
