Hi everyone, hope I'm in the correct board. I'm a novice, so please treat me gently!! I've only had my Samsung A14 5G for a couple of weeks and today I had an onscreen message telling me there was an update. I assumed it was an app update and clicked download. It was a UI update I had no idea what it was and waited while it took what seemed an age. Couldn't turn on the phone after I thought it had finished, then it began again finalising. I've now found out it's a security update. All working now, I've noticed that apps are a bit slower loading when I click on them just after starting the phone, but as soon as I've opened them once then they load instantaneously. Can anyone tell me anything more about the update, and can I expect one every month?

According to the Samsung security site the A14 5G now on quarterly security updates, though can be subject to change. confirmation here https://security.samsungmobile.com/workScope.smsb

@Strat621 Is your Device set to automatically update Apps on both Data and Wifi? Can be issues if not strong connection or if Power saving Mode enabled.

However some customers appear to have this issue even after troubleshooting.
