S23 Battery Drain (Contacts Storage threat)

After updating version 6.1 in my s23 ultra mobile, the contact storage is draining the battery. How to fix this problem.

@BD137: Are you referring to the Contacts app? If so, I'm not sure what could be causing the app to drain your battery, however please make sure to close it when not in use by tapping the Recents button in your Navigation bar, and swiping upwards on the app preview window. 

If your contacts are synced from an external source e.g. your Google or Samsung account, then you may wish to move them to your internal storage, just in case the issue is sync related. To do so, open the Contacts app > Tap the 3 lines in the top left > Manage contacts > Move contacts, and follow the on-screen prompts.

I have had the same problem suddenly since 20th June

My S23 has been overheating + fast battery drain for the past few weeks. Lost 1% whilst writing this. Unlikely I will buy a Samsung again after this.

I tried everything but nothing worked 

Only this problem was solved after disabling " dual messenger "
