I have been using the lock screen pattern for a little over a year now and I always remembered it so it was no biggie. Today, literally out of nowhere, my phone asks me to enter a password. I have no idea why it asked me this, so I tried entering a variety of passwords. All it does is lock the phone for 30 seconds before I can try entering another password once I've had too many tries.
I have no idea what password it wants from me, I only have so many and I tried all of them. It says: "Use password after restart (before I restarted it said Use password to unlock screen), Your password contains at least 4 characters, including at least 1 letter." What password?! See, that's why I hate installing updates, this is just bull*****. I also tried to unlock my phone using Find My Phone and it does not work as it is not connected to the network (I tried restarting it before and I guess that screwed me now). I honestly don't even know if a factory reset would work at this stage, since it does not show any notifications either (apart from: Phone restarted, Unlock your phone to get app notifications).
Did anyone run into the same problem as I did and find a solution? I honestly don't want to try a factory reset (and I don't really think it's gonna work anyway since it's not showing any incoming notifications, either and I can't let my phone ring using Find My Phone).
This seems to be a major issue as I use my phone for work and can't log into the various accounts now as it is a two step verification...

Anyone who has cracked the issue without a factory reset, please help me. I cannot afford to lose the photos of my baby at any cost. The only solution from the service center is to do a factory reset. FYI, my phone is S23 Ultra.

Strange problem in lock screen password for Samsung S22 Ultra
I have Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and I use the same password for 1 year & 3 months, and now the phone said the password is incorrect and locked out for 24 hours many times.
The last app installed is Microsoft Authentication. After the app installed it asked for phone password and not accept the correct one, then the phone start to reject the valid password until it locked out 24 hours for many times.
I tried the safe mode and still have the same problem.
“Find my mobile” is not activated.
For sure, the password is correct.
I tried to use the safe mode and clear the phone cache but the password still not working.
I have a linked Samsung account.
Samsung support in many countries cannot help me.
I have very important data on the phone.
Any suggestions?

@Mohammad Abbas Don't expect any support from the Samsung side. All they can repeatedly say is to carry out a factory reset. I've been locked out for more than a week now. Every day I'm trying out a different password. I don't know which ***** password is required.
The Samsung Indian tech team doesn't even have a slightest clue regarding the issue. I thought it happened after I installed the new update or may be Outlook, which was the last app I installed.

So what is the solution?
Can we find any tool to help us without losing the data?

@Mohammad Abbas Unfortunately there's no data recovery software available which could recover data after a factory reset. I'm trying to raise the issue with Microsoft as Samsung doesn't give a *****.

My Galaxy 22 just started doing what you described after the 6.1 update. Did you ever find a resolution to this?
Thanks,
Don

so i had the same problems as everyone else. after reading and reading . i had one last go and entered the password i used for my gmail account which was also the same login as my samsung account. anyway it unlocked the phone. so for anyone else pulling there hair out i would try any passwords you have linked to any email accounts you have and also try the samsung account password. hope this helps someone
