2 Years 10Month device giving this kind of quality issues are not at all accepted. That too on this kind of premium phones. Took it to the service center and they confirmed me its issue with the display itself. Since the product was out of warranty they cannot do anything on this. So ill have to pay from my pocket to repair this thing. Because of this kind of quality issue sadly i have decided to quit using any of the Samsung products in the future. Products like OnePlus, Vivo are repairing this free of cost and no questions asked. Clearly a fraud work by Samsung making customers pay for their low quality of work.

@Sorake I realise the frustration but "fraud" is not the correct term in this instance (which is defined as wrongful or criminal deception) Aware of a customer in Singapore who was only charged labour costs after complaint https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/mobile-apps-services/green-line-display-issue-after-updating-pho...
However when out of warranty/insurance the customer would normally be expected to cover full cost. costs.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Some of the products are acknowledging and addressing the issue already. Samsung being in a better place compared to those brands is just trying to find excuses so that a valuable customer gets frustrated enough not use Samsung products any more. And also I don't expect standards of Singapore will be implemented here in India. Somewhere standing in a dead-end.

Hello 👋 @Sorake
Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.
When this happened on one of my phone's it was under warranty so Samsung replaced the display.
Of it was out of warranty I think my choice would have to see if my Home Contents Insurance would resolve this. My phone's are covered under policy.
And some bank accounts provide cover as a perk of the account.
I do totally understand and appreciate your viewpoint on this as the situation your in has come up in past threads.
I wish you all the best.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
