Do not disturb schedule not working

My do not disturb schedule is not working properly, its turning itself off before the time I have set 😑 I have tried deleted the schedule and setting it up again, deleting the schedule and creating a bixby routine to turn it on and off, nothing seems to work.

Anyone else experienced this?

So even though I manually turned DnD on last night, and deleted my schedule beforehand, DnD had still turned itself off when I woke up at 5.30.

good morning!

interestingly enough, in the day time one I had no issues - night one however stopped but it seems like I had a reboot at some point and I'm not sure if that's the culprit or coincidence.

this is odd, we'll get to the bottom of it!!

i have found out one thing though.

the watch and the S10's no longer run DnD independently of one another, must be a new thing.

do you have your watch set to any other settings for do not disturb at all? could be worth a check as they now sync and overwrite one another

It's very odd, I have logged it and sent error reports to Samsung, in the mean time I guess I'll have to edit my night time bixby routine to turn down notification volume.

Bingo! I have just checked and yes this seems to be what is causing the issue

Thanks for your help, much appreciated! To stop and further confusion between my phone and watch, rather than setting a DnD schedule, I'm just going to edit my night time bixby routine to turn DnD on. I will test tonight and hopefully it will solve it!

yeah it doesn't always work as intended sadly.

wasnt until the S21U I stopped having issues between watch and phone.

however I'm likely having to return these 3 phones anyway if Samsung don't hurry up and do something about it, can't live with 4hrs battery life or the phone burning my hands (literally) if I use the camera for more than 2 minutes 😞

I have just switched to s10 lite for the pure fact of it having a snapdragon processor rather than an exynos one, no issues with heating up and the battery life is hell of a lot better! Worth looking into the S20 FE 5G possibly, I will probably get one when I upgrade next.
