Hello all,
Though I quite like Samsung's Email App, I can't convert to using it as its missing a few of key features for me:
1. Ability to schedule when an email is sent
2. Ability to 'snooze' an email for a time, then it will come back in my inbox.
3. Report an email as a Phishing email (the sender of the email is automatically reported to the relevant organisation).

(1) & (2) are my key needs.

Do you know if Samsung is working on any of these features?

Regards
Paul.

Hopefully the development team may deem these suggestions as good enhancements to their Email app.  If these suggestions do make it in to the Email app, I will consider using it as my primary Email client on my Samsung devices.

Hi there, @Paulbear. I hope that you're keeping well. 👍

I've had a response from our Research and Development Team now.

Our "developers for now have rejected the suggestion, but they will keep an eye on similar suggestions."

I hope that this reassures you that your suggestions are certainly being considered and, if there are more requests for this, it will help.

Feedback is always appreciated and, even if the response is akin to "not at this time" (for a variety of reasons), it does not exclude the possibility of this being implemented in the future.

If you have any questions at all, please let me know.

Thanks for the update, I hope more people ask for this, so it gets 'bumped up' higher in the 'to do' list.

Here to say the same thing. Really annoying that there's no option to schedule sending on the app. That's why I'm here at 23:00. Because I'd like to have the emails sent the next day... no idea why the idea was rejected in the first place.

I was just wondering was that a rejected idea for all 3 of the suggestions? The reason I ask is because while I know that the phising ability may have alot involved I would really really love the ability to schedule an email for a future date. Could you please please ask the development team if they'll consider adding this feature in some future update please? I would appreciate it.

I'm not sure why this is marked as a solution. Also I'm not sure why the Samsung email developer team would deny a legitimate suggestion lol no that's not helpful. But would be helpful would be it would be helpful if they would just add this basic feature. It's already there on the text messaging app. Please ask the developers to add this function again. Specifically the ability to schedule when an email is sent.

This needs to be added for sure, so annoying it does not already, I'll be using an alternate app till it does

I can 100% confirm as a former iphone user all my friends will not use samsung due to the fact the email app is soo lacking and that you cannot schedule emails as it's soo important for work related where we will do client letters or business qoutes night before and schedule them out for next day ,saving us time. The omission of schedule email is ridiculous and needs to be a standard feature as a native email app if sasmung wants to b3 taken seriously as a consumer friendly company for every9ne
