"Do Not Disturb" not working in "Modes & Routines"

I'm currently using Galaxy S23 Fe, I use one mode and multiple routines. issues about routines are mentioned in another thread. 

I have turned on "bedtime mode" on my phone: When it is 8:30 PM, my phone turns on "greyscale" mode, turns on "Do Not Disturb" mode, shows always on display, changes wallpaper and lock screen wallpaper and ends at 4 AM. Everything works fine except I get calls from WhatsApp, it rings loud like normal as if DND is not on!

I'm having this issue as well on my S24+. I ended up adding a routine that monitors Sleep Mode and turns DnD on and off alongside it, because the DnD applied by Modes doesn't actually mute ringers or notifications for some reason.
