Hey all,
Just a quick one, and this happened to me on my S24 Ultra too when I first got it . 

Like most of us this time of yesr, wirh new phones and upgrades, we typically use smartswitch to transfer setting from old phone to new and its all good. 

I have found one exception and that is the mode setting transfer doesnt work properly after transfer

An example, transferred from old phone to new

Sleep mode:
- Starts at 10pm and stops at 7am

Actions:
- Do not disturb on
- ringtone volune 30 (my parents are elderly so need that on)
- Allow all calls
- mute messages

What i found is the phone is on mute, so no calls are ringing out

What you need to do is delete the mode and recreate it, with conditions/actions and that should fix it

This may not affect everyone but it did on last phone and same with my s25U

I am in a unique position where I need the phone to ring at night but thoughout the day on vibrate only as i am working but have phone on me .

I wouldnt want you to miss urgent call from loved one or emergency services and doctors

Double check your modes are working everyone, especially if you need to be available to loved ones or are ICE (in cade of emergency contact)

I'm not keen on using SmartSwitch so use Samsung Cloud instead which seems to move data across more seamlessly.

You need to select the device that triggers the routine, so it is still linked to your S24U

Sleep mode is on your phone and you can have sleep mode trigger routines

You don't have to select which phone

I wouldn't have known if I wasn't a keyholder for work and someone set off alarm over weekend, I got a missed call in the morning showing, so tested last night

Fear and shock as it could have been a family emergency call that I missed. Elderly parents mean I can't afford to miss a call

@-Robot-  Thanks for sharing this advice,important to ensure required modes are working properly.  As well it was not a family emergency.   There can be issues with  Smartswitch mind you as @BandOfBrothers  has identified.

I it possibly was smartswitch,annoying thing is the sleep mode turns on at the right time but the volume action didn't happen. Because it start correctly you assume it's working
