£50 Galaxy store voucher

So I have claimed by £50 Galaxy store voucher but have no idea how to claim it as it says its for in app purchases only and if you don't spend the whole amount, you lose the rest. I can't find anything to purchase - where am I going wrong?

Thanks for the info. I just have a few question. How did you redeem your voucher? I only ask because when I try to pay for something it takes me to Google play store to complete purchase. 2, I can see my voucher in the "voucher and gift cards" what steps did you take to actually use the voucher? Because I can't seem to use it at all

To redeem the voucher; you simply select what you want to purchase and then continue to payement. If the voucher number is not in the system, you would need to add the number when you come to the payment options; the first payment would be you selected payment ie credit card, PayPal and then underneath the option would be Use Discount, when you press this option it will open a new page where you have all your voucher , you select the voucher you want to use towards payment. If the voucher is not there; you simply press the + button and add the voucher number. And then proceeded with the payment .

Galaxy store sometimes gives limited voucher to spend on the app store. And these vouchers are normally first come first serve basis.

So when you are on the galaxy store , there is a 🎁 on the top right side and if you press that it will take you to a Events page, here you'll see all the free voucher. However, some voucher don't appear under the Events page so you would need to go to Menu and open Deals and Events page; you can see from the screenshot attached I have 2 voucher under Events and 1 under Deals and Events.

You're probably asking Why?
I don't know why.

But to make it more complicated...
If you go to your Samsung Wallet, under the tab Voucher, you'll find voucher that are not in the galaxy store list or menu..
So you would need to redeem the voucher you have in your Samsung Wallet to the galaxy store.

I will give it a try. But like when I try to buy in app purchases it takes me to Google play store. But I will try what you said and get back to you.

It will take you to Google because you've downloaded the app from the Google store. If the app is downloaded through the Galaxy store the payment process will prompt you to complete the payment via the galaxy store ..
