App icon disappearing from the home screen after an app update

App icon is disappearing after app update with the  Samsung Galaxy S23 (SM-S911U) running Android 14 with One UI version 6.1

App is opening from the Store and settings

Hi! Welcome to the samsung members community.

I would suggest going to settings- apps- *the app- storage, clear cache. Turn device on and on.

Go into app draw, swiping up/down- find app and drag it to home screen/ press and hold and click "add to homescreen"

If still missing uninstall the app and reinstall, should refresh the home icon.
