Seal has broken on a SAMSUNG washer less than 6 months old. Advised not under warranty as its a perishable, would not expect it to have perished so soon surely.
I paid upwards of £600 now they want me to pay a few hundred of my own money to have to repaired my washing machine is useless as water empties from it flooding my kitchen when the seal has torn.
Surely it should withstand being loaded and uploaded I have had other brands with no issues. SAMSUNG is suppose to be a well made product not at the cheaper end of the market
How many people need to complain before it's taken as a manufacturing fault. My friends have checked online and seen thus is a recurring issue.

To sumarise what I have already written. Familiarise your self with consumer law and collect the experience of other others who's product failed under normal use as per instruction manual present to retailer get refund. Or, Go to court against retailer and claim against manufacturer for damage or injury.
No the machine was collected. I would not want it Junk!

As @Disapointed said, I went back to the retailer, in the UK they are the ones with whom the warranty rests.
Currys initially tried to fob me off, and I rather lost my patience. I ended up using LinkedIn to find the names of their executive board members and directors. I then made a post including the video of water pouring out of my machine, and tagged them. I then tagged the MD of a few competitors including Joh Lewis and Hughes, and added a few consumer rights publications as well.
After my post went live it took about 15 minutes for the Currys team to reach out and offer to fix my problem.
But the story wasn't over....
They replaced my machine with a brand new one within a couple of days - but when we turned it on, it ***** near bounced across my kitchen.
I went back to the person at Currys who helped me and explained the situation. I was pretty exhausted by that point, and she clearly wanted to help put the issue to be.
In the end they upgraded me to an LG product which so far has worked ok.
I guess the moral of my particular story is that when you're ripped off by a global giant like Samsung, you can always publicly shame the middlemen who enabled it. When that is done, never give Samsung another penny!

Good for you. Personally, I feel it is important for those with the same problem to make themselfs known online, as each one is testomony to an 'inherent fault'.

Did you receive a reply about real life testing?
I also have the same issue with my Eco Bubble Washing Machine. Less than 6 months old and noticed water on the floor in front of the machine and a small piece missing from the rubber rim (basically the same as all the other photos on here) and am so annoyed to be told that it's not covered because it's classed as a consumable! I've had washing machines for years and years and never had any issues with the door seals so I can only assume that there is a manufacturing fault at Samsung.

Whatever seal they used to replace our faulty one SEEMS to be holding up ok . My guess is that they have had a very bad batch of seals deteriorating over the past year or so.

I'm pleased it's holding up. Samsung have said that the engineer will check if the door seal is faulty or damaged through general use. It's been lightly used for less than 6 months, and my previous Samsung never failed like this. Less than 6 months usage does not count as fair wear and tear.
