Serial number location for washer

Hi all, just taken delivery of a new Samsung washer, but can’t find the serial number, according to the website all front loaders have a label inside the door, NOT MINE. Anyone got ideas before I start pulling it out please

Hmm, strange @Lebberstondave . Can you confirm the model number of your washing machine? Can you provide me a picture of your machine? Also, can you confirm where you purchased it?

Could be on the back or side of the machine if not on the inside of the door.

Hi there

i just had same model delivered today 30 July from Curry’s too and I can’t find the serial number so can’t register the warranty.

am loathed to look at back as so heavy and it’s into a fitted kitchen cabinet.  Also the manual says front load machines have code on the inside.

@Lebberstondave @RXa: I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to locate the serial number on your washing machine. If it is not visible below the drum (as per the image in the 'Laundry' guide linked below) then please try checking the inside of the door, towards the bottom.

You may also wish to check your invoice/receipt to see if the relevant information can be found here. For further support, I recommend contacting Currys directly, to see if they have the serial number on record at their side.

Hi I have just received the same machine from AO and yes I have no serial number either, so how to register?? and I havent even used it yet!! as usual you can never speak to a human or email.

Thanks for your replies folks. Yes I eventually pulled the machine out and found the label stuck on the top corner at the rear of the machine. Bit of a pain, but I’ll know for next time.

Hiya RXa unfortunately mine was on the rear, top right hand corner csi managed to drag it so far then get a phone down the back to take a picture. However once registered it’s quite a struggle to get the 5 year warranty sorted.

I’ve had the same problem, HOWEVER! Where there’s the little QR code on the left of the machine the side writing I THINK is the serial number. Can someone please check if the one at the back of the machine and the front QR code is the same?
