I have a Samsung DV80TA020TE/EU heat pump tumble dryer and no matter which program we select it continues to tangle our clothes or wrap them in a lump, its hard to believe a company like Samsung could get away with selling this product as its not fit for purpose.
The problem is caused by a lack of reverse tumbling so all the drying takes place in one direction only an ***** would program it this way, does anyone know how to re-program this pile of ***** so it will reverses tumble.

Hi I have the DV90T6240LN FOR A REW YEARS NOW1 unfortunately this expensive large paperweight does the same, it would appear that most if not ALL heat pump tumble dryers do not have a reverse trim function!!

There are a few on the market that do reverse tumble action, Samsung also sell a reversible heat pump dryer but is very expensive so the technology is available.
i just don’t know why Which would give this type of non reversing dryers good reviews when they are clearly not fit for purpose

I wonder if they can get away with advertising that a Tumble Dryer has reverse tumble action even if it reverse tumbles at the start of the drying process , but does not throughout the whole tumble drying process?
Obviously to stop clothes tangling into a ball you need the drum to auto reverse backwards and forwards throughout the whole drying cycle like the vented and condenser tumble driers did, not just at the beginning

I have a 12 year old AEG heat pump dryer and I love it, mine does reverse tumble. Don’t understand why all these new dryers don’t reverse anymore, it’s not just Samsung, many brands out there have lost their reverse tumble action, its ridiculous, why don’t they do it, who’s idea was it to get rid of this feature, this is why I won’t part with my AEG

looks like a good model - if you do ever part with it at least it looks like that model is still available to bought:
