Home AppliancesAny reply from Samsung please? Im experiencing the same. How is this smart if you have to start it manually? I still have about 2 weeks to return and am seriously thinking about returning it. This is not what was advertised.

Home Appliances@BarringtonK @Members_BZawNpy: If you have enabled Smart Control on your machine, can you try opening the SmartThings app > Tap the 3 horizontal lines > All Devices > Select your machine > Select the cycle you'd like to run, then tap OK. Swipe up to select additional options such as the temperature or spin speed, and then tap Start.
By default, Smart Control will turn off when the door is opened or the cycle completes. You can keep Smart Control on by enabling the Stay Connect setting. To do this, swipe up and select the Smart Control option, and then select Stay Connect.

Home AppliancesHi @BarringtonK ,
I'm reckoning it should be below the 'My Favourite' option at the bottom when everything's all connected and the washing machine is on. 🤔
Screenshot from the 'How to connect your Samsung Washing Machine to SmartThings' video where I spotted it:

Home AppliancesHi, I have recently purchased this device and I could find the "Stay Connect" option in the App. If you scroll down, there is an option called "Smart Control". You need to enter this option to find the "Stay Connect" checkbox.

Home Appliances@BarringtonK - yes you are correct the machine does go to sleep after around 15 mins or so ...... but not totally asleep it listens out for instructions as long as you have the washing inside with the door closed and you have these 3 icons lit up on the front of the display - to get it to work properly (unfortunately) you have to press the wireless soft touch button every time you want to use that function with your phone - it does not remember it.
