Hi guys
Just bought this, i have figured everything out , the manual seem to be for various models so not everything thats in the manual refers to my washing machine
I have two compartments 1 and 2 for automatic dispensing of liquid detergent and softener, and middle compartment is for manual detergent dispensing.
So i want to use washing powder , i have to the middle compartment, do i just fill it up and will it dispense automatically? There is no option for my machine to stop 1 and 2 compartments to automatically dispense so does that mean as long as i fill the middle compartment with washing power it will dispense? And will also compartment 2 dispense fabric softener automatically?
i don’t have the option to change it to manual like mentioned in the instructions but that seems to be for other models, mine is the latest series 8
can somebody advise please?
thanks

@Aauk25: Yes, if you add powdered detergent to the middle compartment, then it will be dispensed into the wash automatically when you run a cycle. The auto dispenser compartments are for liquid detergent and fabric softeners, and are designed to automatically dispense detergent into a wash, but over multiple cycles (so you can fill them, and you will be notified when they need refilling). The middle compartment, in contrast, must be manually filled each time. For further clarification, please see page 33 of the user manual by clicking on the link below.

Thanks for reply.
So i don't need to adjust any settings and all i need to do is fill Powder in the middle compartment and it will dispense. Will it still dispense compartment B with the softener automatically in this scenario?

@Aauk25 - if you are using the middle compartment for detergent powder then you would be advisable to set the 'Dose per Wash' to 'off' , otherwise you will be getting the liquid detergent from the detergent autodose compartment going in along with your powder detergent - so you will be 'over-dosing' and there could be loads of suds in the drum.
You can turn of the 'Dose per wash' by going into the options when setting the wash cycle by pressing the little finger symbol on the front of the machine underneat the lighting up LED display window.

My machine is series 8 and it does not have dose per wash in settings- thats the confusion !
My model is the latest and they seem to have removed many functions from settings that exists in earlier models and automated alot of things using the AI technology

Yes that worked , but I was looking for dose per wash option but I guess this does the same thing.
The instructions don’t mention anything about this so how can you actually get to know the functions if they make it like u need a degree!
