Microwave. DAMAGE.

DO NOT HEAT PLATES UP USING MICROWAVE . THIS COULD RESULT IN A FIRE , OR SERIOUS DAMAGE TO MICROWAVE. Microwaves cook food , because of moisture in food. IF YOU WANT TO HEAT PLATES . Please place a glass of water on top of them.

I once saw a guy run out the kitchen at a house share after putting eggs in water in a metal pan into the microwave.
Just ran off and left it sparking and buzzing.
Oh and can I add they aren't clothes driers for damp socks also 👍

@S_5841 sometimes people do not think and forgetting to put the food in could be more than just embarrassing (no I have not done that!)   This should pretty much be common sense https://www.ahs.com/home-matters/quick-tips/11-things-you-should-never-put-in-the-microwave/
