My Samsung smart washer dryer has automatic dispensers for detergent and softener.
I don't normally use softener, but occasionally I use a laundry cleanser that needs to be put in the softener drawer. I don't want to fill the automatic dispenser with this because a) I only use it rarely and b) I don't want to risk that I might accidentally add it to a normal wash.
How do I go about adding 'softener' manually, for just one wash?

Hi,
Doesn't the softener get added at a specific time into the wash, or at least during various parts of the cycle? Putting it directly into the drum may not be optimal?
Thanks!

Softener is normally added on the last rinse cycle, mine says that its adding softerner on the lcd display to tell me. So put the amount you need in the dispenser for one wash only ? if you put it in the drum at the start it will go straight down the drain or washed off.

Hi Paul,
I suspect your solution may be what I need to do. I will just have to live with the alarm for the low/finished softener.
Also, I would like to know what scale low/med/high of dispensing detergent and softener is done at and what the concentration actually means 1x, 2x etc. when factoring this in. For example, if I have 1kg of washing and my softener auto is set to low, how much softener is actually auto-dispensed. I understand this may be dependant on a number of factors, but it can't be rocket science to include in a manual, at least to a basic degree
Thanks for your help!

has to be pored into manual dose compartment in the middle of the drawer on the last rinse ..... or wait until the whole wash cycle has finished , then select 1 rinse and your required spin speed and put your softener in the middle compartment
