We've had our Bespoke fridge for about four months, and we're getting this strange chemical smell. We've noticed that it's also affecting the taste of the water. We thought it was the filter, so we replaced it, but it didn't help. Has anyone else experienced this?

Did this ever get fixed? I’m having the same issue. Still haven’t had them come out or replace the fridge.

Our Bespoke fridge is about three months old. Whenever I make toast with butter, I get a distinct plastic taste and can't eat more than one or two bites. I've done this maybe three times over the last month or so and it is the same experience each time. I've noticed a strong plastic smell in the freezer area and as an environmental science teacher, I'm aware that certain VOCs will migrate into fatty foods. I suspect that everything in my fridge with any sort of fat content is contaminated.

Yes, ours smells kind of like acetone as soon as you open the door. Seems worse by the beverage center. We have given up using the pitcher, that water tastes like poison. Dispensed water tastes ok. No alarms showing. Tech might show up today, will post if anything happens.

Well the tech checked everything, found our filter was a counterfeit but I had a genuine one so he swapped it out, but 3 days later it still is nauseating to open the refrigerator door. I wanted to love this fridge but it seems like we have to live with a stinky inferior product.

Actually I'm thinking if there's a way to remove the beverage center (the whole reason for even having this model, but wth), it might take the smell away.
