Can't use liquid detergent on delayed start

The blue plastic guide for liquid detergent seems to let it run straight through, so unless there's a hidden reservoir liquid detergent can't be used with delayed start.

On my old (Zanussi) machine I could use a dosing ball, but the Samsung machine does a few calibration drum turns when delayed start selected.

So effectively can't use liquid detergent or liquid stain remover when using delayed start. Not sure what the point is of the blue plastic guide if it just lets liquid straight through .. not happy

My solution to the problem is to load the drum, select the program and wait for the initial spin of the laundry to be weighed to finish. Then you press the pause button, open the door and add the ball of liquid detergent to the laundry. You close the door and press pause again to continue the delay start cycle.
