Please does anyone have any advice on how to fix the auto conditioner dispenser on my WW109H9600 Washing Machine.

I love my washing machine and it works beautifully apart from not dishing out the conditioner.

The detergent side works perfectly and the conditioner is not clogged up

Fingers crossed!

Hi Jason,

I was thinking to buy WD90T984ASE  (washer/dryer) however looking at some Samsung forums found out that there is a common issue with conditioner auto dispenser on multiple appliances - the gasket material is not robust enough.
You seems to be quite knowledgeable about this issue, so I was wondering if you know if this issue happens on washer/dryer combo as well? And the second one: do you know if there is a specific conditioner(s) which contains some strange chemical which is guilty, or all of them aren’t good?

best regards,

I am currently at loggerheads with Samsung over this same issue. 6 months in and the conditioner isn't dispensing. They want me to clean all filters even the one on the intake behind the machine. Clearly they know the issue but can't admit that so make up other things to try first. They are sending me a new drawer but we all know that won't work so I'll then have to fight them to get an engineer to change this seal until next year when I'll do it all again!

Hi Nick

im on the phone to Samsung again.  Probably my 30th or greater call fighting this.

they are offering a repair but due to trading regulations I am in my right to refuse a third repair for the same issue less than 7 months after the last repair.

I am now fight to get an uplift number to pass to the vendor (RGB Direct).

basically this unit is defective from the start and thus a breach in contract has occurred.  This is outside warranty offered because the unit was unfit for purpose.

keep on at them.

don’t take ***** from them. Tell them straight that the auto dispense has an inherent fault

here is the Customer resolutions phone number

0114 4501901

they have a very inaccurate understanding of consumer laws

good luck

Hello,

Do you have any updates on this issue? have the exact same problem. Multiple calls to Samsung only to be told to do varying trouble shooting methods. Some more ridiculous than the next. Every time I get, "have you cleaned this properly" (despite having a new drawer) or you need to put (insert a random wash configuration). They obviously know its an issue and I feel like I'm being fobbed off.

I purchased my machine from the Samsung website. Does anyone know if I can get the machine replaced or refunded?

Hi Jaymark, thank you for your post. I got an email out of the blue telling me I was going to get a call from the alternative resolutions team. They rang and have offered me a replacement or refund! I was gobsmacked but thankful all the same! Apparently the designated repairer has informed them they can't get hold of the right parts!

Just an idea but maybe speak to your repairer and see if they'll inform samsung of the same problem getting parts and you may get a similar offer!

Thanks again, Nick.

Hello,

I have a WW90T534DAN, and have a similar problem except the settings are correct. The machine is about 3 months old and I realise now the softener dispenser has never dispensed anything! It in fact says ‘fabric softener low’ on the display despite it being full. Please advise

Hello everybody ,

I too have joined the club of failed and shoddy design-faulted auto-conditioner dispensers . I have tried all of the fixes before replying on the forum .

I even tried adding some water to the softner before refilling the compartment . I also tried using a garden hoze nozzle and washing at high pressure but nothing has worked .

Samsung should admit that it is a design fault and offer  new machines with the fault fixed by way of a recall .

I spent over £ 500 on a machine that replaced a reliable and still working 17 year old Bosch and now regret the decision to switch to Samsung !!!

Well everyone, since I posted why the auto dispense failed and keeps failing I gave up on Samsung.  They should be ashamed of themselves and hang theirs heads.  They were evasive, in denial and strung it out such that I no longer had the will to continue.

I took my very expensive machine to the tip..radical I know....but I was glad I did, as it was tormenting me due to the above.
I then bought a Miele for the same price as the Shitty Samsung and have not looked back.  Miele are quieter, wash better and have a much better set of programs.  Did I mention quieter...it's so quiet that I had to check several times that the wash was running.

I believe their customer care is excellent and Samsung needs to learn a lesson. I will never buy Samsung again for anything and I hope you all spread the word too.  They take your money and spit in your face when there is an issue.

So I am sorry to say if you have this issue....don't expect Samsung to do a ***** thing about it.
