ALEXA’s voice stopped responding on my Samsung Refrigerator

Hi everyone one!

I love my new smart Samsung Smart Refrigerator.  I especially love the Alexa feature.  The other day Alexa stopped responding.  If I set a timer, the timer would go off but I would not get a verification that it had been set.  I went on line and could not find any solutions without having to call customer service.  
I played around with the smart screen and found the fix.  I’m not sure if it will fix everyone’s problems, but it worked for me.  Good luck!

When the Alexa voice stopped working on my Samsung Refrigerator. …

• Click on the “Bell” 🔔 at the bottom of the Fridge screen.   
• A new screen will open up.
• At the very top, there are several icons.
• Tap on the “Settings” icon.
• The “Settings” screen will pop up.
• Scroll down to: “About Family Hub“ and tap on it.
• A new screen will pop up.
• Scroll down to “Restart” and tap on it.
• A box will pop up that says “RESTART”
• Tap “RESTART”
• The screen will turn off and then back on.
• My Alexa voice started working again after I followed these directions.

UGH, this worked for 24 hours then the problem came back. I tried the reset again and now sometimes Alexa speaks to me and works fine but most time she doesn't respond to commands to play music, display timers or set timers, yet she does set the requested timer and it goes off at the appropriate time. Back to square 1.
