Hi,
I have a strange issue in my new Z Fold 4.
The app of my bank is not showing in the phone notifications menu. Therefore, I am unable to allow push notifications for this specific app.
The app is present on the phone, I can open it and work on it.
I can even see it on the apps menu. But not on the notification menu…
I tried everything I know: reboot the phone, reinstall the app, turned off battery optimization…
Any ideas?

Just to let you know that I reported this issue to my bank, they released a new version of the app and everything in Ok now.

Are you able to enable it in...
Settings > Apps > [your apps name] > Notifications (you may need to select individual notifications)

How strange!
Was there a notification option in the app itself when you installed it, saying, "Allow notifications", or is there a setting in the app for notifications that needs to be enabled?
Also, check that the app has been updated for Android 13, (a few of mine haven't).

Yes, "Allow notifications" was enabled during the installation and it still remains enabled inside the app.
However, the app shows a pop up message saying that the phone is not suitable for push notifications...
I have no idea how to check if the app has been updated for Android 13, but I am sure that I am using the very latest version, delivered today by the bank.

A lot of these, "My app won't work", posts turn out being the app rather than Samsung. Glad it is all sorted for you. 😁
