Side button

Please help, my side button on z flip 4 is opening the navigation bar & it us driving crazy. How do I disable this feature?

You can change what the side button does by going to...

Settings > Advanced features > Side button (here you will find a number of options and settings)

Do you mean when you swipe down on the power button you are getting the notification panel?
If so my post shows you how to access this and you can deselect the option
