Hi, my z fold 4 inner screen cracked last night, just 6 weeks after having the phone.
I heard a Crack sound while folding the phone and found out that black line along the hinge line.
Have any one experienced such a thing?
Is it covered under basic warranty ?
Thanks

This is the first thing I did, they kept the phone for 4 days and guess what, the report from the specialist came out claiming its my fault and the charged me for 20$ for the inspection 🤣

Hi,
Thought i'd join the club, phones 8 months old. I opened the screen up CRACK (Black line of death) Touch screen no longer working. Sent for repair via Samsung repair request as i purchased direct from them (Traded in my Fold 3, no problems with that at all) They received it yesterday, a company called Likewize Repair. I've had a couple of updates last one saying the parts had been ordered. I don't know if its being repaired under warranty or I've got to pay as they haven't sent me any information on the repair. If they repair it then tell me its not under warranty, i'm not paying as I haven't given them permission..... Lets wait and see

Hey there @Members_yuFVi1i
If there are any charges associated with a repair, our engineers inform you before proceeding with the repair. If you haven't been provided a quote and the repair is underway, then it's safe to presume the repair is being carried out under warranty.

You have already had more updates that I got, but if they've not given you a cost it sounds like you've been lucky, like I was. It's good to see some reports of them getting it right, I hadn't found any before I sent mine off, so wasn't optimistic.

I appreciate your quick response, the overall service for the repair has been great. I've never had to send a phone in to be repaired, so I was a bit concerned regarding the process.

That sucks. I don't know if there are differences in the attitudes of the repair places in the US to the UK, but if you need examples of other people who suffered from the fault, I'm happy to back you up, as would others on this thread I expect.
